Min Ren received the Ph.D. degree from School of Artificial Intelligence, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the New Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR), State Key Laboratory of Multimodal Artificial Intelligence Systems (MAIS), Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA), China. He received his B.E. degree in mechanical engineering and automation from National University of Defense Technology, China, in 2013. His research focuses on pattern recognition and biometrics.

He is working as a post doc at Beijing Normal University(BNU).
