Jawad Muhammad received the B.E. degree in computer engineering from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria, in 2010, and the M.S. degree in computer engineering from Selcuk University, Konya, Turkey, in 2014. He received the Ph.D. degree from School of Artificial Intelligence, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, and the New Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR), State Key Laboratory of Multimodal Artificial Intelligence Systems (MAIS), Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA). His current research interests include biometrics, computer vision, and robot vision.

He is working as an engineer at the Joint European Torus (JET), UK.
